This program provides single year funding for community-based projects and activities that directly supports crime prevention programming and/or activities
Funding Available
Available funding varies each year. There is no limit to the amount requested but each project or training budget request will need to substantiate the amount. All reasonable requests are considered.
Deadline
Applications are based on a rolling submission and can be submitted year-round. Applications can be received in advance of April 1 for the next fiscal year.
Eligibility
Any proposal that addresses crime prevention, promotes community engagement, research or advances cooperative, community driven strategies to support safer and more resilient communities will be eligible for consideration.
The program is administered by the Community Justice Division. The Division reviews and scores funding proposals and makes recommendations to the Director based on amount of funds available.
