Criminal records checks

A criminal records check can be completed at your local RCMP detachment, and provides a prospective employer or other organization with information regarding your criminal history.

You will need two pieces of identification, one of which must be government-issued and include your name, date of birth, signature, and a photo.

Check beforehand whether or not the requesting organization requires a "vulnerable sector check", which is used to assess an individual's suitability to work with vulnerable members of society such as children and the elderly.
