The Court Services Division of the Department of Justice delivers services supporting the activities of the Courts of the Northwest Territories, which operate independently of the federal and territorial governments.

• Court Registries
  Court registries are the public offices of the Courts of the Northwest Territories, responsible for managing court files and administrative activities required by the courts.
• Sheriff’s Office
  Sheriffs are responsible for the security of court proceedings, the jury process, and civil enforcement services such as seizures and evictions.
