The Northwest Territories is a member of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), an association consisting of the securities regulators from all provinces and territories in Canada. To ensure that Canada has a securities regulatory system that protects investors from unfair, improper or fraudulent practices and fosters fair, efficient and vibrant capital markets, the CSA is working toward the development of a national system of harmonized securities regulation, policy and practice for the Canadian capital markets.
