Family Violence Awareness Week
The theme of 2008's Family Violence Awareness Week is "Honouring Resistance". Resistance shows a desire to escape the abuse, keep your dignity and make a better life.
Victims of violence always try to reduce, stop or prevent the violence. We honour your efforts. The Family Violence Awareness Week launch will be held at the Legislative Assembly (Yellowknife), 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 6.
