The Department of Justice would like to know what you think about the proposed Professional Corporations Act.

This type of legislation would allow members of regulated professional organizations, like doctors, accountants and lawyers, to incorporate. This would put them on an equal footing with other self-employed individuals in respect of the payment of taxes, but would not change their professional responsibilities or the way they deal with their clients.

Similar legislation is in place in most of Canada.
